whats the easiest way to remove control arm bushings
The rears???? What a pain in the butt!!!
Youve gotta remove the 4(four) 19? mm nuts which hold the entire rear subframe to the car. Your rear end will drop to the ground.
Make sure you look carefully at the rear toe adjustment on the control arms. it is part of the nut/bolt assembly were the bushing is. Make sure you remember where the hash mark is.
When putting it back together, reverse the bolt/nut assembly so you can actually take it all off next time without dropping the rear end.
The rear A-Arms can be detached from the hub/stabilizer bar fairly easily. Do a search for "saabguy" user name. You should find more info on this under my "bushings, dropping the rear end" and "Rear toe eliminator" threads.

If you torque the rubber and squirt 'carb cleaner'at the 'outer sleeve', it will 'de-vulcanize' the rubber. It will peel right out. This will leave the outer sleeve still in the arm.
