i need to buy a level switch/overflow nipple for the radiator and i looked at all the radiators i have and they are all different. whats the deal with all the different styles? the 87 TII has a overflow nipple on the coolant filler neck, the 88 GTU had it on the radiator by the cap and the other 87 TII has it over the level switch. is there a method to this madness?

 

First one is an aftermarket stock replacement.

Second one is dead stock.

Third one is getto rigged.

1st one is whats in the FSM.

 

The layout maybe but I believe the stock rad has plastic end tanks and that one is clearly brass.
