I can't believe that your taking it to a shop before you even know exactly whats wrong. Jack up the car and take a look, see exactly what happened under there..

Do they sell underbelly trays still? I remember my friend going to a drift gymkhana, he didn't have one on his 240, cone came right under and clip his alternator belt. Sucked to change in 0 degree weather.(Ka24)

I would like to buy one!

I drift in my TII and I run a Griffin aluminum race radiator that was meant for a 350ci V8. No complaints here and it's cheaper than either the Koyo or the Fluidyne. Plus from what I have seen, it's a better quality than either of them. The downfall is if you don't have the know how to make your own mounting brackets. But it would only cost about $50 from a machine shop to have them make some for you. That would be my suggestion. I run the Griffin with a Flex-a-lite Black Magic fan and I have ABSOLUTELY NO OVERHEATNG PROBLEMS. Just my experience. Best of luck to you.

Why would I change a rad unless it's bad?

One other minor point on the Fluidyne. The overflow fitting is a 1/16" NPT nipple, available at any Home Depot. Since it's already threaded for 1/16" NPT, it's very easy to adapt for use with AN fittings. The Koyo requires you to either braze on a new fitting, or simply clamp the hose. I'm trying to eliminate virtually all clamped connections for reliability, so this is important to me.

FWIW, I've run my Fluidyne for a couple of years now with ZERO problems. Fitment is perfect. Quality is incredible.

During the time I've had it, I've had a stock 13B-T, a 1/2 BP 13B-RE and now a 20B. I'm finally starting to run into some issues with heat and so I'm going to sell my Fluidyne so I can pick up a custom, larger core radiator.

If anyone is interested in the radiator, it will be available after this weekend for $325 shipped in the US. There is nothing wrong with it structurally. It doesn't leak at ALL. There are some bent fins, but it is all cosmetic.

I wouldn't reccomend a steel radiator for the rx7. Seems like my car wants to get hot in the 90 degree weather, either with the a/c or not. WIth the a/c on, it gets worse. I chose Fludiyne cause i had the extra bucks. I should be getting in the mail soon
