I have KYB shocks and eiback springs but i was wondering how racing beat springs are. B/c im planing to get the sway bars and they have the suspension package and i like the red. But efficiency to me is better than looks.

Oh and i got trust springs and shocks that im willing to get rid of.

 

I have eibach, I have been very pleased with them.

 

eibachs have a progressive spring rate and the racing beat is linear. I've never heard anything bad about either of them. I'dsay go with the racing beats because they'll be cheaper purchased as a package.

 

RB springs are really nice.

 

I have eibach on my FC, and RB on my Miata. both have Tokico shocks. The FC doesn't have any thing else done to it (sway bars or anything.. .yet ). the Miata has the RB package, as well as afew other suspension goodies. I can tell you that the RB is almost too stiff for daily driving, over here in pot-hole capital of the world. If they didn't come with the car, I probably would have chosen eibach, as the ride is much more tolorable in the FC.. If I lived in an area with less potholes (like you do), I wouldn't hesitate to get RB springs at all.

Comparision: Except for the stiff ride, i'm rather happy with how both perform at the autocross track. You will get a bit more roll with the Eibachs due to the progressive spring rate (as I'm sure you figured out already), whereas there's consistant resistance to roll with the RB.

Conclusion: For Southern CA, I'd get RB springs if I were buying new. However, since you already have eibach springs, I'd say its not worth the switch. The next jump up is to something hard-core
