whats better act clutch thats still at 1/2 life or a 4 month old stock replacement?

getting a s5 engine dropped into an s4 car, clutch is for an s4 what'll last me longer and or give me better shifting with future mods? any thoughts?

Well, take pictures of both clutch disks and describe the springs and thickness, and we might have an idea.

Most ACT clutch kits use a stock disk anyway. It's the pressure plate that gives you the upgrade

so would it bwe best to use the new clutch with the act pressure plate?
