Question whats this?????!!!!!!

After I changed my alternator I noticed one of my sensors was broke. I moved the fuel injector wire harness out of the way to clean under the alternator and one of the sensors broke off at the base. Its the one on the ACV (I believe thats what it is) with the two prong conneter. Now my car wont start. I thought that it was flooded real bad so I ran all the procedures and still no start. All I would like to know is that if this part would make my car not start and where can I get one?

I didn't catch the other thread...

You are probably talking about the Water Temperture Sensor (green 2 prong backing). I've noticed that the Harness Plug comes undone when aggressively removing the Alternator, wheras In your case yours Is broken. In most cases - the car will run, just that It'll run very rich under default.

did the harness backshell itself break, or the connector body of the sensor itself? BTW, been there, done that- it'll run like SH#T! New sensors are about $45 at your local friendly Mazda dealer...
