what are YOUR goals for your car?

Future mods im planning are; more fuel, going with a good hybrid turbo setup, a nice big shinny FMIC, a Haltech possibly. As far as suspension mods I really want to get a Tien system, then some really nice light weight rims, like vollks perhaps or similar.
I have a daily driver, so my FC can be used on weekends only if i want, and i can work on it a lot easier while having another car.

I'd love to break 14's with my NA, without breaking my eardrums . If I make it to low 15's, that's fine too. I like to look completely stock from the outside (maybe 3rd gen wheels though), and handle like a beast, with my full interior.

Yo,
Hmm, I would say my goals for my GTUs would be to get 160rwhp on a stock ported motor. Realistic? Probably not, but what the hay!
Maybe dip into the low 15's...90+ trap speed.
Oh! And get my 6 ports working! That'd be nice.
*grin*

My goals are to:
1) Upgrade with the latest technology (ABS, Traction control, LED and HID lighting, etc).
2) Redo the interior with nicer materials and give it a more refined and modern look.
3) Make it capabable of handling, stopping, and going better (150-160).
4) Keep it visually clean (no decals, other than what came on it from Mazda, or big wings) and make it a sleeper.

Black 13B I guess I shoulda said my entire idea also, I too want a 2nd car that I can just go crazy with (most likely still N/A). I like to have one car that's more a factory special, and one that's just what I consider the epitome of what I want from the car.
If the car runs a high 14 I'm very happy with it, even an extremly low 15 will be fine (but I'd rather have the 14).

My 87 GX has a few years to go, but here is the plan:
As it sits now, has a nearly gutted interior (only front carpet and dash left). Motor SEEMED to run great last year when I had it running after I bought it.
Step 1: rock-solid body/frame. my car is not rotten by anymeans, but it is "rough around the edges" you could say. I want the body perfect before I do anything else.
Step 2: engine: get it running again, make sure it has good compression. If motor is gone, rebuild with some mods, but basically stock for RELIABILITY!
note that step 2 may happen before step 1 as I am considering pulling the motor and tranny and all running gear to paint the whole thing, inside and out.
Step 3: brakes and suspension: I want this car to handle. period.
step 4: basic perf mods: intake, exhaust, upgraded ignition, whatever is necessary to make a strong, reliable motor
I am in no rush to build this car. But I want to do it right!
That's my plan

Immediate Goal:
Get her all done and dyno in over 300 RWHP and drop into the 12's on the quarter.
Final Goals:
Big Turbo, FMIC, Stand Alone, Cage
Unbeatable street car - Killer drag car - auto x for fun.
400+ RWHP
11.x quater (or faster)
And still Daily drive durring summer.
I'm half way to my goal.

Ted:
only 800 to the ground? What? You don't wanna break that big 1k? Don't sissy out on us! You know you can pull 1g on a dyno (skidpad too!). Besides, with 800+ rwhp, I'm sure you could rip some low 9's, and even break into those high 8's! Don't be so modest!
