What would you do?
Ok, so here's the situation.. I'm stationed over in Bahrain right now (20 minutes from Saudi Arabia), and i will be coming back to the states in January.. I will be coming home with close to ~15 Grand..
This is what i have right now..
1988 Mazda Rx-7 Sport.. with a recent rebuild (approx 7-8k miles on engine).. with near perfect compression..
It was built with new housings and a large street port. The engine is very strong, and it pulls well past 7k. It needs to be tuned.. Badly.
sorry for the blue writing in the picture.
So anyways... I want to restore my 7 completely (inside and out)..
But my main concern is power. Of course, watching all of these FC vids while im stuck out here on a desert island has given me the bug... you know what i'm talking about... i want to goto the dark side... boooooost
So here's my dilema..
Should i:
A. Be brave, bolt on a s5 turbo or something that will spool fast... do the correct mods (front mount, stand alone, properly tune) and pray for no detonation?
B. Buy a J Spec II engine and rip er apart and port and go with a decent sized turbo (To4... Rx6.. etc) and FMIC and standalone and properly tune?
C. Buy a TII as a daily driver, and setup the N/A's suspension and tune..
D. what else could i do? ______________<----- you fill in here :-)
Note: for option A, and B i would be doing the full TII driveline swap.
Or should i just stay N/A and go with some wicked throttle bodies.. ?
Tweak it's kit, or maybe TWM's kit.
Keep in mind that i am going to need a smooth, ready to go power curve because i autocross my car, and it will be run maybe once a month. Im also interested in drifting.
I'd like to set up a good suspension setup either way i go.
What do you think i should do? I'm not going to go buy an FD either.. Im sticking to FC :-P
Thanks for your opinions and comments in advance

Dude...... If i were you.. I'd buy a TII to drive around while you get the N/A tuned. However, I would NOT try to turbo the N/A. I'd just get it running tip top.
I really wouldn't use that twaekit t-body unless you wanted to go with a complete standalone ECU..
Then, I'd start screwing around with the TII.. I paid 2500 bucks for a running TII and then put about 5K into it (doing most everything myself, including rebuild) and now I have a wycked fast car that does 110+ in the 1/4!!!!
I'd keep the N/A as a daily driver, I whish i had kept my GTU for a driver and had the TII ust to beat on once in a while!!

Yeah... the car is definatly going to be controlled with either a haltech e11, or e6k... or maybe a wolf..
But the thing is, it doesn't really matter for a daily driver, because i live 2 minutes from work (Barracks on military base).. I can walk there. But still life sucks without a car..
I was thinking along the lines of getting a vert. for a daily driver. and modding the dog crap out of the other one..
Looking into a 13b-RE swap.. but doing research, it seems like it will cost more, when a 13bt drops right in anyways.
I've assisted on building a 13bt before, and have done several swaps (Mitsu 4g63 into talon DL, my 13b into my FC, 13bt in TII.. 4age into corolla sr5..) So i know somewhat is going on, i can do mostly everything myself with a helper..
As far as doing a 13bt swap into my N/A, i was considering going with a half-bridge by BDC.. or maybe an extend port.
My goal is a reliable 350rwhp-400rwhp.
I had in thoughts of:
13bt Half-Bridge or Extend port
To4
Haltech or Wolf...
Greddy or comparable FMIC
Walbro 255
Aeromotive FPR + lines and fittings
Koyo Radiator
TII driveline
ACT 6 puck..
RB/fidanza flywheel
RB turboback
What else?
