what would happen if air pump was taken off.. but lines not blocked?

what would happen if air pump was taken off.. but lines not blocked?

Looks like that might be the case on the 7 i just bought.. what can that do?

nothing really... ACV will suck in a bit of unfiltered air.

stick a small fiter on it, or remove the ACV.

(yes the AVC sucks some air in, even without the air pump there)

There are two lines for the airpump. You said HE did not block or cap the lines. His name is BOZO, the non mechanial man. The line from the air filter assy, if not capped, is letting large volumes of unfiltered air into your engine. Probably not a good thing.
