what would it cost me?
i have an 88 Gxl i think it is N/A Motor with 130k miles on it it runs great like it came out of the factory but i was thinking when it where to blow what do you think would be the best thing to do?
#1 Rebuild the same motor and add a turbo to it or..
#2 Buy a used TII Motor with very low milage like 40k or a lil higher and bolt that in?
#3 or if i stay N/A i need to prduce at least 300hp which i think its better to just have turbo thats why....
Thanks In Advance

Don't rebuild a non turbo engine to be used on a turbo. I'd say buying a j-spec or just a used low miles turbo engine would be better than trying to make your non turbo housings match your turbo housings and I'm sure there are dozens of problems I'm not even accounting for. If you go turbo certainly build a turbo engine.
Anything in the same ballpark of the HP you want is really going to be rough unless you had a 3 rotor engine installed assuming it was for street usage. Your car will reak of gas, get bad mpg and probably not last very long. They're good track motors when you port them that big but if you want to drive on the street, you'd get very little torque.
