What is this wire?



i wanna know what the green one is. the one i'm holding. i can't see where its goin to, and i don't know what the colors mean. its an 86 n/a engine.

thats for the temp probe that the automatic models have. Automatics have a sensor thats threaded into that hole on your thermostat neck

It's for the temp switch that controls the auxiliary e-fan fitted to some FC's. It goes in the blanked hole on top of the thermostat cover. Since you don't have the sensor the wire's unused.
