What and where are my 5th and 6th ports
Just wondering what and where my 5h and 6th ports are. Because I read everyone talking about them and I can't figuyre out what they are. Thanks sorry for sounding like a dumb ***
well, they are your 5th and 6th auxilary intake ports.depending on the year of your car they are operated by either your air pump or back pressure from your cats.the open up higher in the rpm range.t2's dont have em. they are below the air intake hose on the passenger side of the engine above the exhaust manifold. they are the two little pod looking things hat kind point in diferent directions. if they didnt work you would know.probably
86 n/a would be located on exhaust side above the exhaust manifold, there are many methods to check to see if they work, some more complicated than others. check out this link, what your referring to is the auxillary ports.. there are countless threads on them so heres a link to a search

If you're looking in the Haynes manual or Factory Service Manual then you'll need to look for them under their correct name, which is the auxilliary ports, which are part of the 6-Port Induction (6PI) System.
