What is this and what can i do with it?

i have removed the emission rail on my car i have this one valve i dont know what to do with??I think it hooks into the intake duct.what kind i do with it whats its purpose and can i block it off or where should i hook it to????

oh yeah its the valve with the brass looking outlet right underneath of the secondary fuel rail sorry i dont have any way to highlight it

I "think" you are asking about the BAC valve. "IF" you are talking about the BAC then, YES, you need to keep that hooked up. It keeps your idle steady when you turn on the headlights etc...

this is a S4 the BAC valve is on the dynamic chamber on the drivers side this is a valve which i htink goes to the intake duct im not sure i had a S5 intake on my car and took it off to go back to the S4.Which the S5 doesnt have this valve.

I haven't look at this side of engine for quite a while, but
it looks like the thermo valve for the sub-zero start assist system. Just cap it off.

ok thanks,after looking at it i think there was a hose that ran to the CSA.Thanks once again
