What weight motor oil...

can i use to help minimize smoking?
i am using 20w-50 here in the northeast US area and my car smokes like crazy...well until it's at full op temp and the oil seals expand...

I'm in the northeast now and with the weather still not that warm I'm using 10w30 Castrol GTX. Only over the summer i'd recommend 20w50.
