What wastegate can you recommend to use on a stock ported 20-B engine with a Garret GT42 Turbo? The engine is installed on a 88 TurboII FC. Since the engine has stock internals it will be tune to no more than 450-500whp but in the near future the engine will be built to use more boost and go up with the power.

Contact A-Spec Tuning. They make a GT42R turbo kit for the 20B. They can probably tell you which wastegate they use, or one that they would recommend.

so I bought the Synapse 50mm wastegate but I need to know if anyone knows where can I buy online a Garrett GT42R Dual ball bearing turbo? A Spec Tuning offers it but there is no way to choose for the turbine options that are available there most be something wrong with their site.

You can locate a distributor nearest to you. I'm not sure how much luck you'll have, though.

 

Most Mazda tuning websites are crap. Just call them on the telephone. Had to do it with mazdatrix a few days ago and I got friendly service as usual. Haven't dealt with aspec yet... But I'd call.
