I bought a msd6a ignition from my friend and i was wondering if you can put this on my 87 n/a. I called to summit and they said that i couldn't and i would need the dis-2 ignition, but ive seen a lot of cars like mine ion the internet that have this kind of ignition on there car. So can i or not?

 

Dont ask summit for advice. Not that they are stupid...its just that thier manual will not say anything on the issue, so they will not want that liability.

Do a search on "MSD 6a" or just "MSD" a whole bunch of threads will come up on how to install it.
