What Turbo Upgrade can i do??

Hey all,
I want to upgrade my turbo but dont want to go with the full external w/g new manifold etc yet so i was wondering what i could do to upgrade the stock one.
I want something that will bolt up to the stock manifold and oil/water lines.
Will a new T04B compressor housing and wheel and backplate from Turbonetics work?
Or a whole new to4b turbo work?
i want to stay as cheap as possible until i get my full external w/g stuff.
so i was thinking a super-V or Super-H trim from turbonetics?!?
what do you all think?? thanks
Jason

the t04 compressor on stock turbo is great, no lag and power all the way up past redline. if you do it to an 86-88 turbo you want to port the wastegate, my upgrade is an 89-91, and its at 10-11psi@7k rpm. the early one would be worse

oh cool, so the regular T04b wheel/housing/backplate will work good then?

any suggestions on super-V versus super-H trims??
thanks

J9...I know this post is kinda old but hey. On your 89-91 exhaust housing, does it hold 10-11 with the wastegate ported or unported? The reason I ask is that I either want to upgrade my 88AE to an 89-91 turbo or maybe put an external on my stock manifold and weld the stock wastegate shut. Also, for anyone that has their turbo off or has worked on it enough...is there enough room to weld on either a single pipe or possible dual pipes to the manifold so that I mount an external? Thanks fellas
