What tires are you running on your FC?
I've got Falken FK-451's in 225/45ZR17and I love them. I just got back from a high performance driving school this weekend at Spokane Raceway Park and they were great. While they don't have the same grip as much softer tires, they have great wet grip and shuld last a lot longer. They're relatively inexpensive (a lot less than T1-S and less than ES-100 with same wear and similiar tread to both). They had good grip and predictable, controllable breakaway and they didn't seem to wear too badly from all the abuse I gave them. I'd reccomend them!
On the AE I'm running Kuhmo 712s, and I can't wait to get rid of them. Not very good at handling, accelerating, or braking. Squeak around turns very easily. Wet traction and tread life is good.
On the N/a I am running Yoko AVS ES100s, and I like those a lot. Good dry traction, and wet is good too. Can really leave you stuck in snow and ice though.

Nitto 455's on stock AE 16" wheels. Handle alright, but its the only tire i've tried so far. Tread life is pretty decent, have had them for over a year and havent had to rotate the rear tires yet even with all the burnouts and fishtails. Agressive tire pattern too IMO.
I bought the car (RX7 turbo II cabrio) with the following tyres:
Front: Dunlop 235/45/17
Rear: Dunlop 255/40/17
Although they look great on the car, they are way too wide for the stock engine and cluch.
Planning to put Pirelli P Zero Roso 225 front, 245 rear, and we will see...

Goodyear Eagle F1's
225/45 17
245/45 17

Haven't got this wheel setup mounted yet so I have no feelings about them, they are sitting in the garage right now. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy though, I've heard nothing but great comments about these tires.

just about done burning up a set of yoko avs db2 (original model). Lasted 30,000 miles. Going to replace with new new model db2. Very happy. Good grip dry, wet, and snow. Oh, and they're so quiet - even now when they are basically bald.
Right now I have some econo-crap coninental all season tires, needless to say, they are complete crap. I would go with goodyear eagles if I had the money, but I'll probaly end up with some yoko es100's unless I'm feelin extra spendy.
i got the Nitto Neo Gen's.....215/50 VR16
they are sticky as hell in dry and wet...i would recommend them to anyone....plus they have the coolest looking tread pattern out there
