What is the thread size for an S4 shift ****?

Pretty much the title says it all. I need a shift **** and order the wrong one thinking the short shifter I just got was for an S5.

Same here for my '86 n/a, M12x1.5. S5 shifters have threads that are M12x1.25. If you're trying to find an aftermarket shift **** to fit an S4 shifter, good luck, I had a very hard time finding one (I didn't find one). I ended up getting a voodoo **** (thread for an S5), and drilling and tapping the threads to fit my S4 shifter.

S5 shifter is NOT M12 it's way smaller than the S4. I'm guessing M10 or M8 for the S5

I must have gotten an s5 ss kit from a guy of this forum because it is way smaller than stock however if I put the **** all the way down on the shifter it will screw into something, just not the threads it was made for???

does anyone know where to get shift ***** that fit the s5? Rx8 shift ***** work right?
