What sway-bar end-links are better? S4 or S5?

Which architecture is better for performance?

It seams like the S5 ones would be more responsive because they have ball joints rather than bushings.
Is that correct?

Also, would a sway bar from an 88 GXL be stiffer than one from an 86 base?

Thanks,
Jason

Zenki - they are iron with rubber inserts.
I believe you can swap the rubber pieces for polyurethane?

The plastic Kouki ones break pretty easily, especially with thicker sway bars.

Zenki, Kouki,... is that the J-spec way of saying S4 and S5?

Yeah, the S4 endlink bushings can be swapped for urethane. But the bushing kit I bought didn't come with them. (any S5 owners want to give me theirs? )

So the only benefit of S5 endlinks are their strength?

No, they are plastic and can break easy!

The only advantage is the ball joint.

The S4 ones are much more "tuneable". You can swap the bushings with rubber or urathane or silicon, and you can swap the links themselves for ones of different height and prrload.

I meant to say "So the only benefit of S4 endlinks are their strength?" :p

I guess I'll go with the S5 links because I'm not spending money any money on new links, and the S4's I have are worn.

Thanks guys.
