the body side molding should be painted white to match with the car

the T2 wheels should be painted white...as well as the surrounding black area of the tailights.

and also a GTU style wing.

inside the steering wheel should say 10th Anniversary on it and the interior should be black leather.

im pretty sure that covers all of it

Here are a few key features:
It should be an 88
Crystal White Paint
Color-keyed trim and color matcing wheels
Bronze tinted glass
10th anniversary badging emblems on the fenders
Headlamp washers
Black leather interior
Momo shifter **** and boot.
Unique 3 spoke steering wheel
Commermorative keys
Special floor mats

The 8th digit of the vin should be a 2 indicating it is a turbo.
The 10th digit should be a J indicating it is an 88 model year. I hope there is something else in the VIN to know if it is a 10th or not and hopefully someone around here will know

This is the best indicator. There is a paint code on the firewall VIN plate. Crystal White is a "UC" code, which is unique to the 10AE. If you see the previously-mentioned "J" VIN year code, along with the "UC" paint code, then you are looking at a real 10AE.

Note that a lot of ignorant people call any 88 TII an "anniversary" model because of the year.

BTW, the 10AE is only worth about $100-200 more than a TII of the same year and condition, so there is not much "extra cash" to be made off young kids unless they are incredibly naive. Check here if you think you can handle the truth:

Yes, and do you remember that total POS ricemobile that sold on Ebay for something like $15K?

There is a difference between super hardcore and super stupid. A super hardcore person would buy a nice 10AE for $4K. A super stupid person, well, you can figure out the rest. Maybe someday a 10AE will be worth a lot of money, but not today.

Reminds me of 300zx's

The Z31 1984-1989

In 1984 They made a very special 50th Anniversary edition. It only came in tu-tone grey and black. Turbo charged with 16 inched gold inlayed rims. Black leather, subwoofers built in the seats, etc etc

If you look around you see people trying to pass off 85's as AE's by putting the badges on them. Makes me laugh. People do the same with RX's.

I love those things

Oh yea, that white one next to it is a 88 Super Sport. Also a very rare car

But I still love the 10AE RX7 too

Ok I got em done It's actually NOT as bad as I thought. Needs a little bit of cleaning and he should be back on the road. How many miles are on it? The good thing is, other than the wheels, it looks completly stock.
