what size injectors with this setup...

what's up guys, i'm kind of new to this all, but i'm wondering what kind of power increase can i expect by putting bigger fuel injectors in my car in place of stock injectors for an 87 gxl. My set up is mild.. i have k&n filtercharger, rb header, and rp catback with bonez superflow cat. I was thinking of going with T2 injectors of that same year, for my secondary injectors. I don't know ? need help.

don't need bigger injectors for that. you won't need bigger injectors for N/A unless you go bridgeported or something crazy like that.

but i'm wondering what kind of power increase can i expect by putting bigger fuel injectors in my car in place of stock injectors for an 87 gxl
bigger injectors don't get you more power. bigger injectors are only if the mods you have make the car need more fuel than the stock injectors can supply, which is very hard to do with the N/A cars.

BTW, does your pass side exhaust tip hang to the inside of the bumper-cutout for the exhaust tip?

I think I read porting the manifold can give you +20 hp? like 12whp.

if you want power from N/A, you need engine porting. I think you can get 200whp with street port and free exhaust and intake. also, when you rip down the engine for porting, It would be a good idea to put in S5 rotors for higher compression(more HP) and some other parts from other engines-I'm not really sure, but there are a bunch of people that know whats best to use.

I'd still like to know does your pass side exhaust tip hang to the inside of the bumper-cutout for the exhaust tip? thanks.

How much can i expect to pay for street port anyways? It would probably be better off if i got an injector controller wouldn't you think?

I dont know what youre failing to understand here...

Adding more fuel isnt going to give you more power...
You have to add more fuel AND AIR.

Getting an "injector controller" or larger injectors will do absolutely nothing for you. If you want your car to be fast, you got the wrong car.
If you want it to be quick, youre going to have to port it.
