What should I do while waiting for my fc?

Waiting sucks, every day I get up and wish there was an fc in my drivway. Ive actually even had dreams of driving my perfect fc (white, slammed with tiens on gold volks). I have some money saved up 1.3k, but I want a clean fc and the ones on craigslist are either 5k, or are in **** poor condition. I am going to wait it out for the ideal fc, but waiting sucks. What should I do in the mean time. I already work full time, drive my perfect fc on forza 2, mess around with my girlfriend, hang out with my friends...but theres something missing. You know how big blockbuster movies always have those commercials that make you want to go see them....I want something like that for my fc. Im rambling on now but bottom line is...waiting sucks but it has to be done and I need something to do in the meantime/hype me up and keep me on track .

Get 2 more jobs? Lose your social life?

I've considered it, I could have an FD at that rate.

at least you can wake up, knowing you HAVE your ideal car and it just NEEDS an engine (are you just rebuilding it or upgrading to 20b btw?) I have considered loosing my social life as well, they wont give me any more over time at my job, they actually COMPLAINED that i was working TOO MUCH! It doenst help that a clean *** fc always drives by when im working...no one else understands how bad I want my FC!

Yes we do, we've been there before.

Honestly, if you look a little farther, you could buy a roller TII for less than that, rebuild the engine and do what you want with it.

Ive already considered it...I live close to atkins rotary and they gave me an estimate of 2000 if I have the engine already, or 3000 for a new rebuilt engine. A clean roller will run me around 1k, and I wanted money left over for minor modifications (suspension, exhaust). I was thinking about just buying an N/A and having the money for repairs and modifications. Im going to college in september so I wont have a full time job anymore and I think, realistically, il only have 3k by that time. How much should a clean N/A run me? Ive seen N/As on craigslist for 1.5k but they arnt clean.

Get a second job and get that car faster. I worked two full time jobs back to back for a little while, worked on peoples guitars, and worked overtime when I could get it at my regular job.

Or you could get a job delivering pizza's till you get one. Pay is ok if you work at night.

Hey IBMX how long have you been riding for? I got a built bike (stolen frame, premium parts, animal pedals...I could go on) the weathers been **** lately so I cant ride. Ive been waiting for a couple months now for my car. Im already working overtime with one of my jobs and I dont know about getting another job...il think about it but im going to college soon so it would only work there a littlebit. Im racing at traxx gokarting, getting my lines down. average time is 25s, the records at 22.8 and im getting 23.4s consistantly....but whatever im doing, im always thinking about getting my car

My ideal FC would have to be a metallic green vert with beige interior and top. I think I'd have to top it off with suicide doors and gold 200 spoke wheels. Now that is hotness.

Start out slow, get a cheap fc you can learn from. Then go from there.

I just got a loan for mine, paid it off in about a year. But that was back when a clean FC was 2.5k, right before the blue book shot up to 4k.

EDIT: I just checked kbb.com. It's 4.5k now. Woohoo! Man, it's paying for its own gas. I mean, um, sorry...
