What should I do ????
My 87 T2 " Tiiffany has developed a problem. I ran at vir in the fall and it ran flawless boost at about 11 psi. Recently, at high rpm I started getting boost creep and shuttering. I ran the car low on fuel, so I figured I got junk in the fuel filter. I started work on her yesterday well my goals were port wastegate change filter and possibly rewire and change fuel pump. When I removed the TID there was a big split in the bottom. I stopped at this point. My questions are:
Should I take the TID off my AE put it on tiff and see how it runs?
wouldnt the split cause boost creep and misfiring?
Where can I get a fuel filter and should it be OEM?
Can I get a TID fabricated and do I have to have the two holes in it one is the BOV and the other goes to the boost gage?
I have searched and I do have a FSM and a haynes manual I am afraid of doing more damage than good, I already broke boost sensor. I will need a rebuild before too long as I have about 100 thousand miles on her. Should I wait til then.
p.s. air pump removed
Thanks for your reply

make your own tid.... block off acv if not done... run vac line from a line you pluged off to boost sensor/what ever other vac line you need....... get after market bov or do the diy bov mod..... i would just get a after market one.
