what shocks to buy???

I have a 88 na and need to get shocks. I am putting Intrax drop springs on too but am not sure what to get. Ebay has alot of Tokico sets and KYB. I am on a budget but want a quality set of shocks. What do I get?

On a real tight budget, get the Tokico HP non-adjustables.
They are a good upgrade without breaking the bank.
You should be able to get them for about $300 shipped!

If you can afford it, the KYB AGX is about the best drop-in OEM replacement out there.
For about $500 shipped, it gives you adjustability that can handle almost anything you throw at it on the street.

i've got Tokico HP struts and some kinda of slight lowering spring (dont know brand, its either eibach or tokico). The car handles great but i feel every road imperfection, its not bone-jarring but its far from luxury too . . .

ive just installed the tokico HPs with racing beat springs. It bumps a bit on the freeway, i see other cars along side me with the wheels taking the brunt while the body stays nice and level.
But the car handles so much better and more predictable.

Ted, where did you see a set of HPs for 300 shipped??? i found the best deal at shox.com, 341.46 taxes and shipping.

Fyi, the Tokico Illuminas are adjusted from the top. You have to pull the speakers to reset them. The KYB AGX's adjust at the bottom, under the car. This is for the rear struts only, the fronts are top adjuters on both.

We're not talking about ILLUMINAs.
