What requirements does a Rotary engine need for synthetic motor oil?

I've heard the engine needs some kind of maintenance or something needs to be done in order to accept synthetic motor oil such as royal purple or any of the leading brands in the correct way. I was wondering what needs to be done to a rotary to accept synthetic oil, if anything??

Nothing. You can use high quality synthetics if you want to. This topic is in the FAQ.
