NGK. I think mine were only $23.00 shipped from summit racing. Can't beat that price.

This is where you don't need to spend a lot of cash .
All those Nology and Jacobs ads are bullshit and their merchandise are crap. Just buy a good insulated set of wires.

Moroso Blue Max

I just put in Moroso spiral core and noticed a much smoother engine above 3k rpm. Really amazing how much it improved.

The wires appear to me to be made of good quality materials.

I had to put in wires that I could custom fit as none of the stock wires would fit for my application. I think I paid around 40-50$ for an 8 wire kit so I still have 4 left to use later on.

NGK plugs and wires work great. Anyone that notices a difference due to plug wires probably had the original wires on their car in the first place...

after i put in my ignition box and changed my plugs i wanted new wires. ended up just getting whatever the local auto parts store had that was better than generic oem and got Accel Thundersports 8mm ones. seem to work fine. since my wires/plugs were fine before i didn't notice a difference really.

I have MSD's and they are great, no radio interferance, no Haltech interferance, and the RX-7 set from summit comes with a heat shield on the wires.. nifty!

My buddy HAD Taylors and they f'd up the CAS signal for the Haltech... he switched to Magnacors and hasn't had any problems since...

SO IMO...

Magnacores or MSD's are worth the money... leave the taylor's to some rustang boy running a carb and points!!

Not sure which number you should reference when you call summit but the NGK # is RC-ZE02 and the stock # is 9133. I can't find my receipts right now so these are the numbers on the box.

Magnecores were nice, I had them on the car or a couple of years then replaced them with a set of standard NGK's. I'm not sure of any actual performance/driveability differences but the magnecores are a much higher build quality then the NGK's and I'll be using them on my new TII motor. My new setup is only getting top notch stuff

I'm just gonna go with a universal set of 9mm for a v8. Whatever brand they got on the shelf at autozone or sumthin. either save the other 4 like Rex4Life said or split the price with some1 else with a 7 or a 4 banger

Stock NGKs.

You dont really need anything better until you see 400hp+ power levels, so dont waste your money.

I just changed the plugs and o2. Napa and autozone didn't have wires!

I can't find NGK wires on summit. That link doesn't go anywhere.

I couldnt find them on the website either so I called and asked. Summit can pretty much get anything from a company they advertise I think. Just call them and ask.

nology wires WILL give you midrange HP and torque. Not much (like +5 ftlb on a TII TOPS)... but there was an article in SCC that proved it. (they dyno tested before and after.. I think its in the may 1997 issue)

I'm using accell 8.8mm, they work fine and look nice.. $37 CDN at canadian tire.
