I think it's for power-steering.
You can just cap it off and ignore it.

Its the AWS solenoid. The PS solenoid is in the back.

Accelerated Warm-up System. It's partly responsible for the 3000rpm start. Do your engine a favour; remove it and cap the nipples.

Just removing the electrical plug will do the job.

And it's the Air Bypass Solenoid. That IS it's name. It works WITH the BAC to create the approx 3000rpm upon cold start up. Not having it connected will drop the 3000rpm down to approx 2200-2300 rpm.

Well, thats just fine with the haltek.

It seems JRAT now works for the people who make the CCR 2450 R GTS Snow Blower. That's what I came up with on a Google search.

Well, mabe it the Circle Computer Resources company. I prefer to believe the Snow Blower outfit.

on a semi-related note --

I have always started my car with the shifter in gear, thus bypassing the accelerated warm up. is there any other reason (besides a minimal weight savings) to remove it?

well I figure If I dont need it take it off.

I am a minimalist when it comes to building my cars, everything I need nothing I dont. I go the extra yard to hide wires, fuses, vac lines, anything that takes away from the engine. This is for both visual reasons (nice and clean) and also that when I go to work on the motor I have but only a few things to mess with.

So basically if its broke and sitting onthe manifold than I will remove it, fill the holes, sand, and paint my manifold with only the items that need to be on it!

Right, as am I. But I just spent like $17 for the OEM hose that runs through that piece to the TB, and I don't feel like tossing it out yet... :/ haha.

Seems to me you could slip in a couple of N332's and a CPU or two for your friends.
