I think you might need to modify the fenders and roll the tires to fit R33 rims, but they're the right bolt pattern and stuff. I've seen a couple of japanese FCs with R33 rims, and they look pretty nice...but its hard to find them for a good price, because anything that says skyline on it is worth twice as much over here

You mean with the Mustang symbol? 16x7.5" rims yes (I think unmarked was less common with older models, more common with newer ones), I don't *think* the 17x8" have any markings.

you cant get them for 17" rims mustangs. I check the dealership and they said no they dont have them. You can sand them down and repaint them or you can go thru me and i can powder coat your rims and have them turn out brand new. We fix curb rash, surface chips and a full sand blasting all at the one price when you get powder coating done. IF you are interested email me at edopowdercoating@yahoo.com. prices are $50 a rim for anything under 17". 18" and above a little more but not much.

Thank you

So you're the edo powder coating guy I see in craigslist. Nice to see you on the board! I might be contacting you about that sometime in the near future.

Yah i post there a lot because i get a lot of pplz calling me from craigslist. Yah give me a call. Prices are $50 a rim, Its a great price for all the work we do to make your rims look brand new.

We fix curb rash, then we sand blast all the old finish off down to metal, then we spray the powder coat and bake. We do all that for one price, $50 a rim.

We also have group buy discounts as well. Give me a call for more information on discounts.

PS the picture in my signature is my car with Powder Coated gold rims. (An example of the kind of work we do.)

We also have OEM reman 4 piston T2 calipers. I believe the price is 155 without core and 105 with core I have to recheck my prices.

We also sale rear calipers, Brembo front rotors(vented but blank), OEM rear rotors (vented) and can get a hold of SS lines.

***REMAN calipers come with BRAKE PADS!!!***

Please email me on prices and if you have an request of parts please email me for prices.

If I had to pick a Mustang wheel that would be my favorite style. Do you have any specs on it (17x?, offset, weight)? What size tires are you running and do you have any rubbing?

im not sure what the off-set is but you dont need any spacers and they are as close to the front suspension as you would ever want, any closer would be doom. they are 17x8 and about 21lbs. 235/40 in front and monster 255/45's out back in this picture. I had to push the head shield over the mufflers in a little for the backs to clear, this is easily done by hand. Other then that, no rubbing.
some1 told me they ran stang wheels with 235/45's in front, he said they were rubbing all the time, so the 235/40 is the limit for fronts.

don't know much about rims (yet) so im going to ask and find out. my sister has some 245/45/18 tsw thruxton wheels that she got for her g35 but soon sold the car for another. she took the rims off and said if i want it, all i needed to do was take it home. i live in chico, she's in vegas. im visiting her right now in vegas and these things are beautiful! i was wondering, can these things work under a TII? the rims are pretty much new with fairly new tires. my brother-in-law said they bought it for $1500 give or take.

i've checked and it seems the 245 will work for the rear but i don't know for the front? flares and spacers on both ends?

I recently put 17 inch rims stock rims from a 2001 eclipse gt. 215/40/17 tire size. Looks nice. When looking at it from the side it resembles like a porsch 944.

everyone is talking about the gt wheels and completely ignoring the fact that there are better mustang wheels out there. yea the gt wheels are decently cheap... if you can find them. i have been looking for 2 weeks straight on craigslist, recycler, 5 mustang forums, autotrader, the works... and i have not been able to find a set of gt wheels.

what i have found on the other hand is the cobra R wheels. 17x9 +23 offset. i am damn sure that tese wheels will fit on our cars with little to no body work and you might need to stretch the tyres a bit. but other than that these wheels are great. decently light, good looking and wide.

FC3Slider, if you're really wanting a set of the gt wheels and say you cant find em, you obviously havent checked ebay. there's almost always at least 1 set on there

I just got my GT wheels for $160!!! Not a single curb rash...perfect....off a 2004 model, so they are fairly new.

I weighed them in at 18 pounds per wheel.

I have a question for K1noy tho, or anyone else with the mustang GT rims....I know we don't need spacers, BUT did any of you guys use longer studs??

well here is what the rims im talking about look like.
http://www.tsw.com/productline_all.php#thruxton

i asked my brother-in-law and he said my sister had it on her car for 2 weeks only then swapped back her original rims/tires. basically the rims and tires have just been in the garage collecting dust all this time. i've never heard of tsw before but it seems they're pretty nice rims manufacturer. any comments?

again, its 245/45/18 tires on 18x8 rims...it comes with a 20 or 40 offset and i think the ones i have are the 40 offset.

its seems that it'll fit though im just worried the front might rub since i usually hear people go with 225-235...not 245 on the front.

what about Mazdaspeed protege wheels? I may be able to land a set soon and it would beat the 80s styled turbine wheels of my TII.

What wheels do you have? I'd like to find a set that light if it's available of the Mustang OEM 5 spoke style.

aka_rocket...i had 245/40/18 on my gxl and they rubbed turning...so most likely you will have problems with 245/45
