once again i am here for your help my 86 gxl with 151000 miles is giving me trouble. i am getting a compression test tomorrow,but i dont think thats it,well see. i have tried everything and the car only starts when it wants to. i have done the following atf-starting spray-changed oil-new plugs -adjust timing-push starting,ect My car only starts when i push start it or sometimes starts when i use starting fluid but not always, when it runs it smokes for a little bit but seems to run strong and smooth-revs all the way to redline.
the car does flood but i have installed a fuel cut-off switch and it doesnt help. DO I NEED A NEW ENGINE-
if so how cheap can i get one used.
Some guy said he can rebuild my engine for 500 then 475 for r&r and thats if i dont need new rotor housings is that a good deal, plz help i want to drive this thing so bad i have already perfomed many mods and can not drive it

 

i may be mistaken, but if you get new injectors you should have most of ur problems solved.
