What model FC do I have?

OK, I was reading through the FAQ looking at what came with my car and now i cant figure out what model i have... my car has:
14"phonedials
power steering
doesnt have power mirrors
locking storage bins
electric sliding sunroof
Some of this stuff was only standard on the sport, some base, some luxury. was a lot of this stuff just inconsistancy or what?

hmmm, whatever it is, it sure got the **** out of everything. it has neither lightweight, nor any sort of sporty package (has power steering and no lsd).

I had an 86 Sport w/o PS and I've seen plenty of phone dial wearing FC with PS.

If it has power windows and/or Tilt wheel. I'd call it a luxury. If it doesnt then i'd call it a base

i'd call it a base then.. cuz you have no REAL luxury unless you have the plush carpet.

PS and bins were common on base model. dont know about the sunroof. Doesnt matter what the brochure says. If you ask the dealer for somthing they WILL throw it on the car just to get a few more bucks out of the buyer. And bins are SUPER easy to add to a car that doest have them.

are there realy that many inconsistancies in the models? like they accidentaly cut a hole in my roof and put the sunfoor in? or maybe ran out of manual rack steering so just put power in it?

my old 7 was an 87 red base with the phones of course but had a sunroof, p/s and crank windows. there is a step down though depending on the options the customer got. there is one at my work. its an 86. no bins, no sunroof, cranks windows, non tilt anything, honestly the car is in some bad shape but you get the idea.

That's what my dad's 86 n/a was like. Manual everything, no bins, no P/S, no nothing. COMPLETELY base.

Factory metal sunroof and no power mirrors means it is a 87.5-88 SE, not a base.

This is covered in the Standard and optional features thread at the top of this section.
