You may need to jumper the starter kill relay if you remove the box, then.

The starter kill relay is located on the drivers side underhood near the trailing coil and main relay.

I'll have to look and see if that has been disconnected on mine. She fires up no problem.

You may need to jumper the start kill yes, just depends on the set up. Some cars you have to, some don't.

ECU doesn't matter. The ECU is the engine computer not the theft computer
