Arrow What luck dead fuel pump I believe

I sure do have some luck... first the cas wires in my fd have a break in em and now my fc doesnt want to start.

All fuses are good, pulled off 1 fuel line turned the key to on and no fuel came out, so I put that line back on and pulled the other... turned the key on, still no fuel coming out so I tried to start the car.

Guess what it fired up for a quick second then died.

My FC was running perfect then the next day the fuel pump dies?

Think it would be worth checking the wiring or just throw in another pump?

Jumper the fuel check connector and then check for voltage on the Blue/Red wire in the Circuit Opening Relay with the key to "on"as it should have battery voltage. This wire runs to the rear of the car and connects to the rear harness which then plugs into your fuel pump pigtail.

It's ALWAYS worth checking the wiring before buying parts you might not need.

tapping doesn't "fix" anything. You should really look into what the actual problem was (perhaps a loose gnd or pwr connection to the pump) before you get stranded somewhere.
