Lightbulb What to look for buying a 91 Rx7.

Hey Im currently looking at buying a 91 rx7 with around 80k miles. I've almost bought a few in the past but ended up getting a vw gti . Well i read up on the problems on these car a while back but was wondering if anyone or a few of you could give me a quick heads up on what to look for? and what problems are no biggies and what problems i want to stay away from?

Thanks in Advancea and i hope to get rid of my VW and get a Mazda within the week .

Check compression; it should be at least 70 psi or more on all faces of each rotor, 90+ is prefereable.

Look at the oil fill neck; it should look like oil. If it looks milky or slimy than run away. This is a sign of a coolant leak into the combustion chamber.

Other than that it's pretty much like any 15 yr old car...check to make sure it is in good mechanical shape like normal (brakes, transmission, etc).
