What to look for in 2nd generation turbo

Ive had many Z cars and MGBs. But I have always wanted a second generation RX7. I want a turbo and would like to know some of the common defects that I should try to avoid when I am looking. I could go up and down on Nissan Z cars so do think I am ******* the rotary :o) Also if there is a specific year with certain advantages that would also be nice to know.

Thanks much,
Jonathan

Ford Bronco
MGB
Mazda 626(soon to be sold)

Also if any of you Texas or Louisiana guys have seen one laying around drop me a line.
