What kind of spark plugs to use on n/a streetported daily driver ? hot/cold ..?
Im wondering what kind of plugs i need to get for my n/a s4 streetported, i see hot plugs are made more for racing , while cold plugs are made for street driving...but i want something a little more on the racing side for when i am racing..but while still retaining the qualities for good daily driving in the city...but all i see are two choices everywhere i go
i also see some places have platinum ngks and regular ones...i really dont kno the differance from using one or the other, whats the advantages of one over the other

platinums last longer, no performance increase or advantage or disadvantage other than that.
For street ports I would stick with the stock 7's in the leading... maybe go to the 9's on the leadings if you are experiencing abnormal wear on the leadings.

If you go with too cold on the leadings (and sometimes even the 9's are too cold), you will get carbon and deposit build up while the engine is cool/cold. Something you want to avoid all together on a Rotary.
