I just use a compression tester you would use on a piston engine. Craftsman to be exact. You just remove the check-valve out of the end of the hose so that it will not hold a reading. This way you can check for even bounces on each of the rotor faces.

I dub mine the Heff3000. Digital pressure transducer combined with a datalogger and my old laptop.
