"Wal-Mart Special"

It was cheap. I don't care about my actual CD player; all I wanted was some device that would play a CD.

Pioneer DEH-P31 I love it. and i wouldn't go with any other brands, all my friends have gotten Pioneers now. They're awesome. Installed it myself some how. It has orange lights that match the dashboard lights perfectly. It's a lot like Higgi's except the volume on the left side is adjusted by buttons instead of a dial like he has. I like that better. Sorry i don't have any pics. I got it for $130 at Wal-mart. hehehe.

get CF radio surround from Mazdaspeed7 (more expensive way, but much nicer and you can dig custom hole for your stereo) or Metra car stereo install kit.....

in my T2 i have an Fujitsu Ten Eclipse deck...it was installed by the previous owner. sounds really good. it has the safety feature on it where you need a security disc to unlock it. so if someone steals it its impossible to use it once disconnected from the car if you don't have the security CD. i don't know how much it costs............

in my n/a i have some older Sony deck with a 10 disc changer in the bin

Pioneer DEH-P7300, got it for $255 online. Love the deck, had one in my Bronco 2.... and then the tree. Not installed yet, I have to look into what all I have to do 1st. I dunno what kind of stereo the RX has in it thusfar, but I'll prolly rip EVERYTHING out, and run everything new. Nice little project, wouldn't you say?

Alpine 7845

and

Alpine CHA-624.

IMO there is no other choice than Alpine CD anymore since Eclipse and Denon discontinued the 18bit CD players.

I've got some JVC that was at the time the step below the Kamelion when it first came out. It has aux input in the front so I can use my mp3 player It has all the stuff I need, cd text, cdr and cdrw support and it's like 3 years old.

A six year old Sony ES head unit, display can be swithched to orange or green. Orange display doesn't match instrument panel perfectly, but close enough. (Better than green or blue!)

A $180 Sony CDX-L550X. The lights are a combo of orange and red, so it matches the rest of the interior lighting well. I'm **** about that as well. The dash kit I bought at Best Buy gives a nice little cubby hole beneath the deck. It's brittle as all hell though, and I broke it as I was putting it in. So just be a little more careful than I was.

I have a Sony Xplode CD player...sitting on my dresser. Along with a 500 watt 2 channel amp, a 560 watt 4 channel amp, 2 10" subs & 1 12" sub. They are awaiting something to put them in. Don't want them in my camaro.
