what happens when you do a tps adjustment and

when i did this just now the car at closed throttle was pulling like 1.3, 1.4 . when i sweep it , it overloads,, then at wot i pull a 4.25 . does the over load mean the tps is bad??

because the car idles fine and will acclerate fine once in a while .. but when i normally drive it .. it gets to about 3000 and starts to buck like crazy ..

Does it blow open and read 0 (or infinity) on the multimeter? If that's the case then it's faulty and needs to be replaced.

Are you using an auto-ranging DMM?
If so, this might be okay.

If it's not auto-ranging, it's definitely bad.

if it's auto ranging do it slower.

it will do that if you move it fast.

did it very slow ,., did it fast .. it still over loads .. i allready order the kick in the ***** or 298 dollar sensor will be here tomorrow.. i think this is the cause for my car not being able to accelerate past 3 grand slowly.. cuz i thought that it was flooding.. but there is no smell of gas.. the plugs are dry .. and basically its right around the same throttle position is when the car cuts out
