What is a good clutch?

My clutch is totally burnt out, I need to get a new one but am curious what one i should get. Would an ACT street/strip clutch be okay? Its a 91 and its stock with no engine work.

Any ACT 6-Puck would be fine, a little rough for engagement, but eh, you'll deal. Plus it'll be fine for when you do upgrade.

I wouldn't recomend a solid disc as the 4 or 6 puck act clutch for the street. I know it can be done, as a matter of fact I have been using one on my daily driven car since the past 5 years. Granted is not a ACT clutch, but its the RB one, as result I'm on my third tranny!!!

My .02 cents!

Plus I heard that the RPS is a VERY good clutch, and you can buy it on the rx7store.com for less than the act 4 puck clutch!!

is this turbo or N/A either way the 4-6 puck is too much for the street. i have a 6 puck for my heavily modded TII and it's a pain to drive, so i'm now looking for other alternatives. If you're gonna be putting down no more than 250 lbs/ft TQ then i would recommend the CF DF. good clutch, good pedal feel, relatively cheap.
