What goes Conected here? PICS PLZ HELP

OK, so i was folowing this noice in the engine, and i found this hose disconected-ruber Pic#1, so it makes noice and then i rev the enigne and then back to idle it suks in Air , some sorth of Vac hose.

Pic #2 i also found a metal fiting right ontop of the turbo i was danderinf maybe these two are suposed to be conected or sumthing.

IN MY TRUNK I HAVE SOME SORTH OF PUMP WITH TWO INLETS I THINK THATS WERE THE HOES DOES CENECTED BUIT WHAT GOES THAT PUMP DO ANYWAY? if its not for that then NVM but wanted to make sure.

Don't bump ever; saying it so you don't get yourself kicked.
The hose in your first picture looks like it is part of the air pump. It sucks in air to help clean out your Cat converters or where ever else your air control valve likes for it to go to.

looks like it should go to the air pump which is prolly the pump u have in yoru trunk...

either block the hose off or put the air pump back on...

you guys think theres any reason why the previos owner took the pump out, with out bieng that it was broken, i think it is i might put it in since i have the braket and botls.
should i put it back on?

people remove the emissions parts because they dont need them, or like to clean up the engine bay a bit , you dont need it unless your going to use it for a emissions test , if you dont have a catalatic converter then id just leave it off. but if you have to go in for a emissions test soon (if your area has one) then i would put it back on and connect it to the cat.

nah i have full racing beat exhaust, and i wont pass Inpection anyway since its RHD.

thank you guys for the fast help. but whta should i do with that hose? it makes alotof noice at Idle.
