i got a problem
1when i tried to post the first time, nothing came up, i guess a jack up with my browser, and then the thread was there but nothing i wrote was there...
so, i guess ill reply to my own non existant thread
i got a problem with the different settings you can do with the defrost/floor/vent stuff
ive resoldered my logicon a couple of times
and there still is no response from the motor that does its thing with moving those little flaps inside the vent (wow, sometime i amaze myself with my clarity lol)
has anyone had this problem and know how i could fix it?

Have you checked the mode control motor???
To check the mode control motor: unplug the harness that is coming out of the Logicon and plugs into the dash above the accell pedal. This is not either plug that plugs into the back of the logicon, but it is the plug at the end of the harness coming out of the logicon. Unplug that plug from the car.
On the car side of that plug, there will be a Green and a Blue/Yellow.
The resistance between the Green and the Blu/Yel should be 17 to 21 ohms. Anything other than that would mean that either the motor is disconnected or that the motor is damaged.
Then apply 12Volts to the Blu/Yel, and ground to the Grn. The motor should move all the way over to the vent position and stop.
Then apply 12Volts to the Grn, and ground to the Blu/Yel. The motor should move all the way over to the defrost position and stop.
Things to check if it doesn't move: the linkage between the motor and mode control motor.
If the mode control motor and it's connections check out, then you have a bad logicon.
If you need a rebuilt logicon PM me, I have several available.
