What is the FC3S??????????

Alright, here is the deal. I'm looking to buy an FC and I'm not sure of all the differences between the models. Some FC's are advertised as FC3S and to me they look exactly like the GXL model. I know the Tll has the turbo with the turbo hood. Does the FC3S have something different in the engine than the GXL or what is the difference between all the models in the 2nd gen. RX-7? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

fc3XXXXXXXXXX is part of the vin number. All 2nd gens are referred to as fc3s's, but if ou want to get specific, different models share similar but different vin numbers. There is an array of different models. Turbo II, gxl, gtu, base model, 10th anniversary, and so on.

No that is not correct. Only coupes are FC3S. Convertibles are FC3C.
