what fan for Fluidyne radiator?
Mines a turbo and I am getting a Fluidyne radiator. What fans fit on it and which ones are reccomended? Does FAL or someone else make one with a shroud? I would appreciate pics of cars with one in them.

MikeL: thanks for the pic, I have a couple questions. How easy was it to mount and where did you get it from? How come there is a hose going to the radiator on top, isn't it a metal pipe with air bleeder screws on the stock one? Did you relocate your battery? I just got a Rotory Pack myself but am still looking for a place to mount it.

Mounting: I had to have some metal welded on to the radiator to mount it like I did (see below photos). You could avoid the welding by bolting a piece of steel strap on each side, so that you'd have the mounting points. You need to buy four big eye-bolts and use most of the other mounting parts that come with the fan.
Where from: I bought it from Jason at this forum's store.
Hose on top: There are differences in the radiators. The series 4 is different from the series 5. BUT, my second '87 TII has a different setup than my other '87 TII. Whatever you have, you should be able to make it work, maybe though, with a little more money spent.
Relocate battery?: Yep. It's behind the driver's seat, in the bin.

Thanks, forgot to ask what size black magic fan fits? Mine is a series IV. Didn't know he sold them. Guess I'll have to find a different spot, my storage bins are already gone with boxes in places of them.

All of the Black Magic fans are 15"

Some people put the ignition thing on top of the factory fan shroud. Others have put them in front of the radiator.

Welp, the Jacobs went in along with a street ported engine and turbo upgrade so, I don't know what it did. A guy I know said that his idled better and seemed to have a more crisp throttle response.
