Yes, the racing beat turbo back will yield at least 60 hp. But along with it, you also need to buy the fuel cut defenser and a Walbro upgraded fuel pump (k2rd.com) otherwise, you'll overboost and can blow your motor. Also think about porting the wastegate on your turbo. This will help prevent boost spikes when you change gears. You can go without the walbro, but it's cheap insurance. Oh, and with the bigger pump, you'll shoot bigger flames !

Here are a couple of shots of the A'PEXi N1 on my 91 vert. The power increase was good. I also added a Bonez cat into the mix.

I have had the system for over 2 years now, and it is absolutely great. I since bought it for the Project 86 about a year ago.

Sorry the delay just saw your question. I love my HKS. I didn't know what to think when I first put it on, but after I drove it, I fell in love. I have some pics if you want to see it. it is a little big but it flows sooo nice. I would think that it compares inbetween the N1 and the GT spec on air flow. It sounds great too, nice and deep, but not loud and annoying.

Yeah, can you post the pics? That would be good. I am just deciding between the N1 and the Hiper.
Hiper is more expensive then the N1, but if the sound, performance and looks is better, than that would offset the cost.

Thanks,

If you had the Racing Beat full exhaust system, could you pass emission tests? (I'm not sure whats all in it... if they have cats, etc)

If not, what would be the best way to go (to pass emissions) with the most hp gain?

thanks

I agree with you man!..I had a FULL RacingBeat Turbo Exaust with FCD, Intake, and RC injectors without bigger fuel pump and = blown motor!!!!..

Thanks!

I just put in my Racing Beat exhaust/FCD last week, and although it seems like I'm still running rich @ high boost (shoot flames out both pipes... yummy) I think I'll just top off the fuel system before I do the drivetrain, instead of after. Thanks for the warning...

-Brian

BTW, The performance gain is absolutely huge =). You'll go from racing GS-Rs, and Audi TTs, to new mustang GTs, 3rd gens, Z28s, and winning (based on my kills in the past week )
