What exactly does the CPU control?

I know there's lots of threads on how to resolder it but i'm not sure exactly what the CPU does. My alarm seems to work intermintant(stock), but other than that i can't seem to tell what it does. Also all my idiot lights work but i can't get to get the clock to work except for a few seconds and its dim then its gone. Does anyone have pic of what solder joints need to be resoldered exactly? Sorry i did a search but didn't find the exact info i was looking for.

The CPU controls the turn signals, key hole lights, any delayed off interior lights, hazard lights, Horn, brake lights, brake warning, any buzzers other than the power steering and over rev.
