What else is broken/needs replacing?

I have quite a lot of detailed, hi-res pictures here: http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w...%20RX-7/Crash/

Basically, I know that the control arm is broken (it is badly twisted), and the sway bar end link has snapped as well. I have bought both these parts from a forum member.

I am taking my car into a shop this week to get it fixed, however they are charging me more than they should for used parts. They have a parts car in the back, s5 like mine, but for the lower control arm for example they were ready to sell it to me for around $200 (I bought one off a forum member for $50). Although that control arm on special order from Mazda is $700, so in comparison $200 is still cheap.

I'm just wondering what else may be broken so I can find those parts myself (I hope my axle is fine, although after jacking the car up for the first time today, I'm not so sure). Any help is appreciated.

WOW..Simply WOW!..OK,I am gonna Put in My 2 cents.,Well,For sure the lower Control arm,I would check into the Front Hub assembly too,the Shock assembly. The Sway bar is Bent, along with the Steering rack(inner tie rod),also you are going to Have to Bring the car in to see whether the frame is Actually BENT..I am saying this because the car I have NOW,had a "bit of Damage",That I could see.the Front Drivers Corner Was Tapped..it Turned out the Frame was out,by an Inch..I would NOT be surprised if that Car,By Standards is a Write-off by Todays Insurance Adjusters...The Stuff that you are Pointing out is The stuff that you can Rightly see that is Broken or twisted/snapped at a glance..you will have to Get in there and Examine it More Closely..anyhow,I hope that the frame isn't bent on your car..(by the way,It Didn't cost me alot to get it straightened..But I knew the Guy.he gave me the Break of my life.)..By the way,the car will never Drive Correctly again..not with Damage like that..Good luck.

Damn that sounds really bad! I figured the control arm took most of the impact, since it was connected to the wheel that hit the curb at an angle. I suppose it's possible that there is frame damage, since the suspension connects to the frame eventually, but I'm just hoping I broke things that are more replaceable (sway bar, tie rod).

Do you think that just replacing the broken suspension parts will allow the car to drive properly again, or would it need to be taken to an alignment shop to have the suspension geometry looked at?
