what is the easiest way to check the fuel pump?

Exclamation what is the easiest way to check the fuel pump?

i was wondering what wires i should cross to check to see if the fuel pump is working, and i read some posts from hailers about checking it but it wasnt to clear. there should just be to wires that i have to cross to see if i have power to the pump right? let me know as asap. any help would be awsome. if any of you have been keepin up on my car build, then they know i only have 2 more days to figure this **** out.

Unplug the connector under the rear carpet, Stick a multi meter on the end and turn your 7 to ignition, if you have power going to it your multi will read 12v.

That only works if you jumper the fuel pump test connector. It is a large black plug that is bright yellow where the actual connector would go. It is next to the pass shock tower. Jumper the two connections with a test jumper (wire with spades on each end). Now put the key in the ON position. The fuel pump should now be on. If it isn't, pull of the carpet and check that the fuel pump plug is getting power.

okay, i jumped the yellow plug and i DO have power to my pump i went to the back and i could here it whinning away..so is it safe to rule out fuel as being the problem? I have another thread about my car not starting and whatnot soo
