Question What does this mean?

It takes about 3 starts to get my car idling. Then it runs for 3-5 minutes and shuts off just befor it hits normal opperating temperature. So I start it back up and then I am good to go. But when it is a very hot day I can not turn off my car for more than about 2 minutes without expecting to give it 30 minutes to cool down befor restarting.
If you have any idea of what to test or even what would make sence to do please tell me.

I don't have an error code reader, but if I can get one I will definately buy one, do you know how I can get one?

Also it doesn't always go into high rev warm up at cold start

No need for any special error code scanner tool.
