what does this harness go to? (pic)
If it's series five, you'd check the wires in the jpg.
1C for the start signal when the key is held to Start. Black/Red wire.
2E for the water thermo sensor. Should be 2-3vddc engine cold. Engine hot a half volt to 0.40vdc. Green/White wire.

ok, that makes sense. Let me check it then. I still cant tell based off of that diagram which harness is which. I will just look for the wire colors and figure it out.
That jpg I attached in my last post shows the ECU plugs from the wire side of the plugs. The three plugs are attached to the ECU and your looking at the wire side of the plug, NOT the mating side of the plug.
Although I've never seen a series five ECU, it appears there are three plugs on it. On the far right you see how the plugs are numbered. They start on the right and go to the left in a up/down method.
The colors of the wires in the three plugs is shown in the attached jpgs. The letter L stands for Blue fyi.

Ok guys I checked those signals and they were dead on.
The car was hard as hell to start and kept backfiring like it wasnt getting enough fuel. I cranked for a good 15 minutes and the plugs were dry.
For whatever reason I am not getting enough fuel. Even when I drive it at first it is a bit weak and seems to hesitate a bit at higher rpms.
Once everything warms up it seems fine and then I can drive the **** out of it.
Again it only started when the battery was almost dead and cranking really slow.
I have a feeling I will have to check my fuel pressure with after the filter. But then again why would it change when the car is warm.
Also could you guys tell me what this sensor is? I found it unplugged before and plugged it in but not sure if it is plugged in upside down. Plugged in or not the car still runs the same.

Looks like the air intake temp sensor to me. I don't have a series five so I can't say for SURE. But I'd be five bucks on it. It matters not which way it is plugged in.
You've one air intake temp sensor in the afm and one in the intake.
Does not sound like a fuel pump if it runs fine hot.
